Stormtek Roofing & Restoration
A brick North Carolina home at blue hour after a hailstorm: a blue tarp on the roof, one warm porch light.

Had a storm come through? Most storm damage can't be seen from the ground.

Hail bruises a shingle under its granules. Wind breaks the seal and lays it back down. From the driveway the roof looks fine, until a ceiling stains next year.

So how would I know?A HAAG-certified inspector walks every slope.

Every hit is marked and photographed. It takes under an hour, and you get a straight answer: claim, or no claim.

Gloved hands holding a tablet over a shingle roof, photographing marked hail damage at sunset.

Is it really free?Yes. Free now, and free later.

Whatever we find, you get the photos. If there's no claim in your roof, we tell you that too.

Reading glasses resting on paperwork beside a laptop, lit by a desk lamp at night.

Do I have to call my insurance company? No. We make that call.

The first call sets up the claim, and the wrong words can cost you it. We open it with the inspection findings, in the words your insurer uses.

What about the adjuster? We meet your adjuster on the roof.

On every claim, a Stormtek estimator walks the damage with them so nothing gets missed. If the estimate comes back short, we file the supplement.

What will it cost me?Your deductible. Or nothing at all.

If your claim is approved, you pay your deductible and nothing else. If it's denied, you owe us nothing.

Straight answers.

What does the inspection cost?
Nothing, now or later. It takes under an hour and you keep the photos. If your roof doesn't have a claim in it, we tell you so.
What do I pay if the claim is approved?
Your deductible. Nothing else. Your insurer pays for the restoration your policy owes, and we make sure the estimate covers everything the storm damaged.
What if the claim is denied?
You owe us nothing. A denial isn't always final, either: most we see are missing documentation, not missing damage. A free re-inspection and a properly built supplement reopen more claims than people expect.
Do I have to call my insurance company?
No. We contact your insurer and open the claim with the inspection findings. The documents, the adjuster meeting and any supplement are handled for you, and you can follow every step in your portal with your track code.
Will a claim raise my premiums?
Weather damage is treated differently from an at-fault claim in most policies, and storms that hit a whole area move rates whether you file or not. We go through your policy before anything is filed, and tell you honestly if the damage isn't worth a claim.
Do I need a storm, or a claim, to hire you?
No. Most of our work is paid for directly: a visit, a written quote, a start date. Nobody has to file anything to get a new roof.

No storm? Same crew, paid directly.

Roofs, gutters, siding, windows, decks and kitchens. A visit to the house, a written quote and a start date. No insurer in the room.
